| Once again, Hampshire College is offering its students the Tuition Refund Plan, an optional insurance program through A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. The plan is intended to minimize the financial loss which may occur when a student must withdraw from the College for medical reasons. The plan complements Hampshire's current refund policies for tuition, providing assurance throughout the semester of a 100% refund of tuition only for withdrawal due to physical illness or injury and 60% refund of such payments for withdrawal due to mental health conditions. The cost of the insurance, as shown in the application section, covers applicable tuition charges for the academic year. Please read the coverage section carefully to determine the plan's suitability to your needs. If you have any questions about the Tuition Refund Plan, please contact A.W.G. Dewar at 617/774-1555. Should you decide to enroll in the plan online, please submit your application and payment before the opening day of classes, September 5, 2012. Online applications cannot be accepted on or after that date. We are pleased to offer this service as an effective way to protect your investment in a Hampshire College education. |
