Franklin & Marshall College

June 2015

To Our Students and Parents:
With the current level of education costs, we have had a concern for the student who suffers a serious illness or accident and has to leave Franklin & Marshall College before the semester is completed. In many instances, it means not only the loss of time invested in studies, but also the loss of the semester's costs.

We are pleased to advise you of an insurance program, the Tuition Refund Plan (T.R.P.), which will minimize the financial portion of the loss. This elective insurance plan provides coverage for tuition, room and board charges.

This Plan significantly extends and enhances the College's published refund policy. You are assured of a 75% refund throughout the term even after the College's own refund policy has expired. This is especially beneficial when you are forced to withdraw and then return for a later term.
Franklin & Marshall College, of course, has no financial interest in the Tuition Refund Plan. We are pleased to present it for your consideration, since it has proven to be an effective means of protecting parents' investment in their children's education.

If you are interested in participating for the academic year 2015-2016 online, please submit the application and premium by September 2, 2015, the opening day of classes. Applications cannot be accepted after the opening day.
