We are pleased to inform you that Stanford University has arranged with A.W.G. Dewar, Inc.
to offer the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP). This Plan will help minimize the financial portion of
losses incurred if a student suffers a serious illness or accident and has to leave Stanford
before the term is completed. This insurance plan is elective.
This is a private insurance program for undergraduate students that extends and enhances
Stanford University's published tuition refund policy. Subscribers are assured at least a
75% refund throughout the term, even though Stanford's refund policy may have expired at
the time of withdrawal.

for each quarter. The per diem tuition rates for 2008-09 are listed above.
Are all undergraduate students required to enroll in Dewar?
No, participation in the Dewar Tuition Refund Plan is entirely optional. Families are sent information in August of each year.
What is the deadline for enrolling in the Dewar program?
On Stanford University’s first day of class, September 22nd, Dewar will cease accepting applications for the
Autumn 2008 term and any applications which are postmarked after that date will be covered for the winter and
spring terms of 2009. (Late entering students may obtain coverage provided applications are postmarked
before their first day of class.)
If you wish to subscribe to the plan, your application and payment must be submitted before the first day of the term,
September 22, 2008 for the Autumn term. For personal assistance, please call our Dewar's representative:
