Dear Students and Parents:
With the current level of education costs and the substantial financial commitment required by Norwich students and their families, we are concerned for the student who suffers a serious illness or accident and has to leave the University before the semester is completed. In many instances, it means not only the loss of time invested in studies, but the loss of the semesterís costs as well.

We are therefore pleased to advise you that Norwich has arranged for the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) to be offered to our students and parents to minimize the financial portion of the loss. This Plan provides benefits as described in the coverage section which can be extremely helpful should a medical withdrawal occur. If a medical withdrawal occurs as a result of a student being hospitalized for two consecutive days, the student can recover 100% of tuition, room and board. The benefit for medical withdrawal in which the student is not hospitalized is 60% of insured fees.

The Tuition Refund Plan is an option for students and parents. If you wish to subscribe online to this insurance program, please submit your application and payment before August 31, 2015. Online applications cannot be accepted on or after the first day of classes, August 31, 2015.
