Dear Students and Parents: |
With the current level of education costs and the substantial financial commitment required by Norwich students and their families, we are concerned for the student who suffers a serious illness or accident and has to leave the University before the semester is completed. In many instances, it means not only the loss of time invested in studies, but the loss of the semester’s costs as well.
We are therefore pleased to advise you that Norwich has arranged for the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) to be offered to our students and parents to minimize the financial portion of the loss. The Norwich University Fees and Financial Policies located on the Bursar website www.norwich.edu/bursar/fees.html provides important financial information such as the refund policy for withdrawals.
An overview of our refund policy for withdrawal is below:
If the withdrawal Occurs during the: | Norwich Charge | | Norwich Refund |
| First week | 20% | | 80% |
| Second week | 20% | | 80% |
| Third week | 40% | | 60% |
| Fourth week | 60% | | 40% |
| Fifth week | 80% | | 20% |
| After fifth week | 100% | | 0% |
