Dear Emerson Students and Parents:

In an effort to help protect the financial investment of our families, we've partnered with A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. to offer you the opportunity to purchase elective insurance coverage for your student's Tuition and Room & Board charges.

The Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) is an insurance plan that minimizes the financial loss you may experience should you need to leave Emerson in the middle of a semester. The TRP refund covers 100% of Tuition and Room & Board for medical withdrawals, and 60% of Tuition and Room & Board for mental health withdrawals.

The TRP works in concert with Emerson's existing refund policy as published in the Emerson College Catalog. Subscribers are assured a refund throughout the term, even though Emerson's policy may have expired at the time of withdrawal.

The chart below shows how TRP works for a medical leave to complement Emerson's current refund policy:

If you are interested in participating in the Tuition Refund Plan online for the 2013-2014 academic year, please submit the application and the annual premium before the first day of classes, September 4, 2013.
