| We would like to bring to your attention a tuition refund plan that DePauw University is making available to our students again this year. This private insurance program offered by A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. supplements DePauw University's refund policy for the student that must take a leave of absence due to an illness or accident prior to the end of a semester. This elective insurance plan provides coverage for tuition, mandatory student fees, and university room. This plan significantly extends and enhances the University's published refund policy which follows federal guidelines allowing for a per diem pro-ration through 60 percent of a semester for tuition costs. You are assured of a 75% refund throughout the semester, even after the University's refund policy has expired. This is especially beneficial when you are forced to withdraw and then return for a later term. The financial burden of repeating lost educational courses will be greatly reduced. We are providing the Tuition Refund Plan as an option for students and parents. If you are interested in participating online for the academic year 2012-2013, submit your application and annual premium before the first day of class.
