| All of us at Wake Forest are concerned about students who suffer serious illness and accidents and have to leave the University before a semester is completed. In many instances it means not only the loss of time invested in studies, but also the loss of the semester's costs. We are pleased to inform you that Wake Forest has arranged to offer the Tuition Refund Plan to our students and parents to minimize the financial portion of the loss. This elective insurance program, made available through A.W.G. DEWAR, Inc. (DEWAR), provides full coverage for tuition and room charges. The Plan extends and enhances the University's published refund policy. In cases of withdrawals due to accident or illness, the plan assures you a 100 percent refund throughout the term. The refund amount is 60 percent in cases of withdrawals due to "mental or nervous" disorders as defined in the plan. We are providing plan information and an application for your careful review. Please read the coverage section carefully before enrolling. If you wish to participate in the plan online, you must submit your application before the first day of classes, August 26, 2009.
