Fall 2014

To students and families:
With the current high level of education costs, PLU offers an elective tuition insurance plan. This plan helps cover PLU costs if a student has to withdraw due to a serious illness or accident before the semester is completed. In many cases, such a withdrawal can mean the loss of time invested in studies, as well as a semesterís tuition costs.

For this reason, we strongly encourage you to consider the Tuition Refund Plan administered by A.W.G. Dewar in Quincy, Massachusetts. This plan protects the studentís educational investment by reimbursing 100% of tuition, room and meal plan charges in case a student is forced to withdraw due to a serious personal illness or accident. In the case of withdrawal due to a psychological or emotional condition, the plan will reimburse 60% of costs insured in accordance with the terms outlined in the insurance contract. A chart outlining the reimbursement schedule is posted below.
